Everyday magic
At the start of 2020, while homeschooling two children and caring for two other babies I found myself overwhelmed and anxious about the future. I needed a creative outlet and began photographing my children (and fur children) religiously. They were entertained; I was impassioned. It became my mission to 1). capture the beauty of daily life and 2). preserve fleeting childhood moments.
It has been almost four years since I picked up my camera, and I still continue to look for everyday magic. What is everyday magic? The little pauses that make our hearts skip a beat. The miracles present in the mundane. The happiness of just “being” with ourselves and those we love.
